Job Description – Executive - Security
Role Overview:
The Loss Prevention Executive will assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment within the mall by implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, supporting emergency preparedness, and coordinating daily security operations under the guidance of the Loss Prevention Manager.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Safety & Security Operations:
- Support the implementation of safety and security programs in accordance with mall policies.
- Conduct routine inspections, security checks, and patrols to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to all SOPs, safety procedures, and compliance standards.
Risk Management & Training:
- Participate in Security Surveys and Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Assist in organizing training sessions, fire drills, and evacuation exercises for mall staff and tenants.
- Maintain updated records of incidents, reports, and training documentation.
Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate with security personnel, housekeeping, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Support liaison activities with local police and emergency services as directed by the Loss Prevention Manager.
- Assist in investigation of security incidents, losses, or breaches and prepare incident reports.
Technology & Systems:
- Monitor electronic security and surveillance systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Report malfunctions and assist in implementing corrective actions or upgrades.
- Support ongoing security automation and enhancement projects.
Emergency & Crisis Support:
- Assist in executing Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plans.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies to ensure minimal impact on operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in any discipline; certification in Security Management or Industrial Safety preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in mall security, retail loss prevention, or facilities management.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, fire safety equipment, and emergency procedures.
- Good communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
