Job Title: Accounts and Taxation Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts and Taxation professional to manage day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, tax filings, and financial reporting at Vizag Inorbit Mall. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Indian taxation laws (both direct and indirect), TDS, GST, and a good understanding of retail or real estate accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries in ERP (e.g., SAP/Tally).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Monitor and control expenses as per approved budgets.

Taxation

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.).
• Prepare and file TDS returns; ensure timely deduction and deposit.
• Support in handling Income Tax Assessments, GST Audits, and other statutory audits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of taxation rules and ensure full compliance.

Compliance & Reporting

• Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, and tax) for timely completion of audits.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Prepare MIS reports for management review.

Coordination

• Liaise with internal departments, vendors, consultants, and government authorities.
• Coordinate with the head office finance team for reporting and compliance alignment.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation (experience in malls/retail/hospitality sector preferred)
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
