Job Description: Senior Manager – MEP Electrical (Commercial / IT Office Projects)
Responsible for leading the complete Electrical & MEP function for Grade-A commercial and IT office developments, including design review, execution, quality control, vendor management, testing/commissioning, and statutory compliance. Ensures reliable, efficient, and safe electrical systems aligned with K Raheja Corp’s project standards.
1. Electrical & MEP Design Oversight
Review and approve electrical designs, SLDs, load schedules, DB schedules, and ELV layouts.
Ensure MEP service coordination across electrical, HVAC, fire safety, IBMS, and plumbing.
Validate technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, and equipment specifications.
2. Execution & Quality Management
Oversee implementation of HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS, earthing, lighting, and ELV systems.
Ensure adherence to IS codes, NBC, CEIG norms, and internal quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, material verification, and QA/QC checks.
3. IT Office–Specific Electrical Integration
Manage electrical requirements for:
Large office floor plates
Data centers, server rooms, IDF/MDF spaces
Workstation power distribution and redundancy
Integration with IBMS, ICT, access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems
Ensure readiness for high-density IT and corporate office loads.
4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
Lead testing & commissioning of all electrical and ELV systems.
Ensure proper documentation: test reports, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and compliance records.
Support handover to facility management teams.
5. Vendor, Contractor & Stakeholder Management
Oversee performance of electrical contractors, ELV vendors, and OEM partners.
Coordinate with consultants, PMC, planning, procurement, and project teams.
Conduct technical review meetings and track progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
6. Cost & Procurement Control
Review BOQs, contractor bills, material submittals, and commercial evaluations.
Track long-lead items (transformers, DGs, HT panels, UPS, ELV systems).
Support budgeting, cost optimization, and value engineering.
7. Compliance & Sustainability
Ensure CEIG approvals, DISCOM coordination, fire NOC, and statutory documentation.
Support IGBC/LEED compliance and energy-efficient electrical planning.
Qualifications - B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
12–20 years of experience in commercial/IT park MEP–Electrical projects.
Strong expertise in HT/LT systems, DG/UPS, ELV, IBMS, and electrical safety standards.
Experience with large developers or top MEP firms preferred.
