Job Title : QA/QC Engineer - Quality Executive   Location : Baner, Pune, Maharashtra

Role Overview
The QA/QC Engineer at K Raheja Corp will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of construction within the project meet the defined quality standards and specifications. The role involves implementing quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes, conducting inspections and testing, monitoring workmanship and materials, identifying non‑conformities, and ensuring corrective action. The aim is to deliver projects that meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain the project QA/QC plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and related quality documentation.
Review drawings, specifications, contract documents to capture quality requirements and ensure compliance.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure construction works (civil, architectural, structural, finishes, MEP interfaces as relevant) are in accordance with approved drawings, material specifications, workmanship standards and applicable codes.
Inspect incoming materials, components, and subcontractor works to ensure they meet required quality standards.
Monitor tests of materials (concrete cube tests, steel reinforcement checks, mortar, finishing etc.) either in‑house or through third‑party laboratories; verify test reports.
Identify non‑conformities (NCRs), document them, coordinate corrective/preventive actions, follow up to closure.
Coordinate with site team, contractors, QC labs, consultants to resolve quality issues in real time.
Ensure all measurement, mixing, placement, curing practices follow standards.
Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, daily/weekly QC status reports.
Assist in training site staff, subcontractors, and vendors in quality and workmanship expectations.
Participate in client / consultant inspections, handling punch lists / final handovers.
Continuous improvement: propose improvements in methods, materials, processes, lab practices to optimize quality outcomes, reduce rework.
Required Qualifications & Experience - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Diploma acceptable with strong experience.
 
Experience : 3–6 years (or adjust based on seniority) in QA/QC roles in real estate / construction ‑ residential / commercial projects in Pune or similar markets.
Performance Metrics / KPIs - 
Number of non‑conformities raised and their closure rate/time.
Percentage compliance of work/per materials to specification (as per inspections/tests).
Frequency / severity of quality defects, rework value.
Adherence to quality documentation (ITPs, reports, test certificates etc.).
Audit results (internal / external).
Client / consultant satisfaction with quality during inspections / handover.
Reduction in rework or remediation costs over time
