Assistant Manager – Firefighting & PHE (MEP)
Role Summary
Responsible for supervising the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Firefighting and Public Health Engineering (PHE) systems across projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and coordination with all MEP stakeholders.
Experience in commercial projects
Key Responsibilities
Oversee site execution of Firefighting systems (hydrants, sprinklers, pumps, alarms, suppression).
Supervise installation of PHE systems (water supply, drainage, STP/ETP, sump, pumping systems).
Ensure all works comply with NBC, NFPA, local fire authority & plumbing codes.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other MEP teams for design and execution.
Support statutory approvals (Fire NOC, water board, environmental clearances).
Monitor O&M/AMC vendors and conduct site audits and system checks.
Review drawings, BOQs, material submissions, and quality of work.
Conduct fire drills, safety checks, and training sessions.
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical/Fire Engineering.
3–7 years of experience in Firefighting & PHE execution or facilities.
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, pumps, PHE networks, and codes.
Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
