Job Title: Vice President – Safety

Business: Residential
Location: Gigaplex, Airoli

Role Purpose:

The VP – Safety will lead the development and implementation of safety strategies, policies, and programs across all residential real estate projects. This role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, promotes a culture of safety, and mitigates risks to protect employees, contractors, residents, and assets.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and execute the organization’s safety vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
    • Advise the Director and senior leadership on safety risks, compliance, and best practices.
  2. Policy & Compliance

    • Formulate and enforce safety policies in line with local laws, building codes, and industry standards.
    • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (e.g., OSHA, National Building Code, Fire Safety norms).
  3. Risk Management

    • Conduct risk assessments for all residential projects and implement mitigation plans.
    • Oversee emergency preparedness and disaster recovery plans.
  4. Operational Oversight

    • Monitor safety performance across construction sites and residential complexes.
    • Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  5. Training & Culture Building

    • Drive safety awareness programs for employees, contractors, and residents.
    • Establish KPIs and reward systems to promote a proactive safety culture.
  6. Stakeholder Management

    • Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance.
    • Represent the company in safety-related forums and industry associations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Safety Management; Master’s preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in safety management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within real estate or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.
