Job Title: Vice President – Safety
Business: Residential
Location: Gigaplex, Airoli
Role Purpose:
The VP – Safety will lead the development and implementation of safety strategies, policies, and programs across all residential real estate projects. This role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, promotes a culture of safety, and mitigates risks to protect employees, contractors, residents, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization’s safety vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Advise the Director and senior leadership on safety risks, compliance, and best practices.

Policy & Compliance
- Formulate and enforce safety policies in line with local laws, building codes, and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (e.g., OSHA, National Building Code, Fire Safety norms).

Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments for all residential projects and implement mitigation plans.
- Oversee emergency preparedness and disaster recovery plans.

Operational Oversight
- Monitor safety performance across construction sites and residential complexes.
- Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations; ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Training & Culture Building
- Drive safety awareness programs for employees, contractors, and residents.
- Establish KPIs and reward systems to promote a proactive safety culture.

Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance.
- Represent the company in safety-related forums and industry associations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Safety Management; Master’s preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in safety management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within real estate or construction.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.
