Key Responsibilities
1) Inbound Logistics & Receiving
- Plan and schedule deliveries with procurement/vendors as per work-front priorities.
- Verify PO, delivery challan, e-way bill, tax invoice; complete GRN (Goods Receipt Note).
- Conduct quality and quantity checks (IS codes/specs, damage/shortage).
- Manage unloading, staging, and tagging (cement, steel, aggregates, tiles, MEP fixtures, finishes, joinery, etc.).
- Maintain delivery logs; escalate discrepancies/short shipments.
2) Outbound & Intra-Site Material Movement
- Coordinate last-mile delivery to work-fronts (floors/towers/zones).
- Allocate equipment (tower crane, hoist, forklifts, Hydra, pallet jacks) and workforce efficiently.
- Implement pull systems/requisition-based issue to avoid wastage and congestion.
- Track returns, rework, and backloads to vendors.
3) Inventory Management & Stores Control
- Maintain real-time stock ledgers; reconcile physical vs. system (daily cycle counts, weekly stock-takes).
- Segregate materials: fast-moving/critical/long-lead/hazardous.
- Enforce FEFO for cement/chemicals; controlled storage for steel/tiles/fixtures.
- Monitor minimum/reorder levels; raise replenishment requests proactively.
- Manage tools & plant (T&P) issuance/return records and condition.
4) Documentation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure GST & e-way bill compliance for inbound/outbound movement.
- Maintain GRN/GIN, delivery challans, inspection reports, gate entry/exit registers.
- Support audit readiness (internal, client, statutory).
- Adhere to RERA documentation standards where applicable (traceability, approvals).
5) Site Logistics Planning
- Prepare site logistics plan (material flow, laydown areas, access routes, stacking zones).
- Decongest work-fronts; manage traffic & barricading, signage and clear pathways.
- Coordinate with Civil/MEP/Finishes teams for sequencing and priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/B.E. in Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Graduation with logistics/supply chain specialization.
- 5–8 years experience in construction site logistics/store operations (residential/real estate preferred).
- Working knowledge of GST & e-way bill, ERP/WMS (SAP/Tally), Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot, basic dashboards).
- Familiarity with IS standards, construction materials, lifting equipment, and site safety.
- Certifications (nice to have): NEBOSH/IOSH, Lean/5S, SAP MM.
