Reporting to : Senior Manager - Taxation

Role Overview: The positions involve key role in managing end-to-end direct tax compliance, reporting, advisory, and litigation for the Residential & Commercial construction business alongside supporting the Senior Manager in tax planning, regulatory reporting, and strategic initiatives, while ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and leveraging technology for efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & ReportingEnsure timely & accurate advance tax payments, filing of tax returns, tax audit reports and SFT compliances.Review current tax, deferred tax computation and tax reporting in quarterly and annual financial statements.Handle SEBI LODR reporting related to taxation.Advisory & Strategic SupportReview business agreements from a tax perspective, including withholding tax implications.Support in evaluating tax implications of M&A transactions, group restructuring, and business deals.Suggest and implement tax optimization strategies in business structuring.Assessments & LitigationManage tax assessments and re-assessments, prepare responses for appeals, notices, and other audits.Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authoritiesManage tool maintaining trackers for Litigation, Notices and Refunds.Transfer Pricing & Related Party TransactionsEnsure compliance with arm’s length benchmarking for related party transactions and monitor documentationProcess Improvement & TechnologyIdentify areas for automation and leverage tax technology tools to optimize compliance and reporting processes.Regulatory & Judicial UpdatesTrack and disseminate timely updates on regulatory and judicial developments in direct taxation.
