Role Overview
The Lead - Company Secretary will be responsible for overseeing the company’s overall operations, governance, compliance, and strategic growth in the real estate sector. This dual role requires strong leadership, corporate governance expertise, and deep knowledge of real estate laws and business practices.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
General Management
- Lead day-to-day operations of the real estate business, including project development, sales, marketing, and customer relations.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Company Secretary Functions
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, SEBI regulations, RERA, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage board meetings, prepare agendas, draft minutes, and maintain statutory registers.
- Advise the Board on corporate governance, legal obligations, and risk management.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, and legal advisors.
- Draft and vet contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to real estate projects.
- Ensure timely filing of returns, disclosures, and reports with regulatory authorities.
