Job Description

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on distribution network components including transformers, switchgear, RMUs, circuit breakers, cables, and meters.
• Monitor and maintain 22Kv substations and LV distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply and system reliability.
• Quick respond to faults and outages, troubleshooting issues, and coordinate restoration activities with field teams.
• Maintain and update records of maintenance activities, PPM reports load data, and asset conditions using maintenance logs.
• Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, expansions, and improvement projects.
• Conduct safety checks, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and local regulations.
• Coordinate with control room operators, utility personnel, and third-party contractors during emergency or planned outages.
• Support implementation of smart grid technologies, remote monitoring systems, and other digital tools for better O&M performance.
• Prepare technical reports, incident analyses, and recommendations for system improvement.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, Familiarity with SCADA, GIS, and Energy Management Systems (EMS), Understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, or local codes)
